At the peak of the rainy season, hundreds of differently-colored mushrooms pop out of the forest floor. Accompany us on a mushroom hunt, in which we’ll pick all the edible varieties, in different sizes, textures and colors.

Afterwards we will visit a local fair at which we’ll be able to try dozens of different styles of preparation for this local dish. We will end the day by visiting a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) sponsored mushroom farm, that supports the local community and is directed to the conservation of the surrounding forest (home to the Monarch Butterflies in winter).
